Those who were soldiers in the decked ship, which was sent by the People to the Iasians during the alliance, honored Dionysios son of Metrodoros, their own captain of the ship with three sets of oars (triērarchos), because of his virtue, benevolence, and righteousness which he has towards them. He has also been crowned by them with two gold crowns and one bronze image, as well as another in marble, he has been honored by the People of the Iasians with a commendation, and he has been crowned with a gold crown of Hera.
