Samothracian-devotees (Samothraikiastai). . . honored Iollas son of Hegesipolis (?) . . . on account of his love of honor (?) . . . towards them”; to crown him (?) and, with drink-offerings, to proclaim that (?) . . . “the Samothracian-devotees crown Iollas . . . who has accomplished the sacrifices (?) . . .” . . . having supervised in accordance with the law . . .; and to begin these . . . praises by us during each meeting (synodos) for his lifetime. . . . The sacrifice-makers (hieropoioi) who have been appointed with the secretary (grammateus) are to be in charge (?) . . . of the proclamations (kērygmata) . . . , to engrave . . . this decree (?) . . . on a white slab (stele) . . ., and to set it up in the (?) sanctuary (temenos) . . . (about two or more missing lines).
