Upper part of a marble slab with two crowns in relief above the inscription (inv. AKM 146).

It was resolved by the therapeutists (therapeutai; i.e. servants of the god): Whereas Paramonos son of Attalos, who has possessed virtue, has been chosen to be priest of Sarapis by the People . . . and the temple . . .
