bibliography

Slab of marble found in the region of Korakonero (28 x 40 x 85 cm). Here the members of an association contribute towards restoring a wall and communal tombs owned by the group after an earthquake had damaged them.

When Theuphanes was priest and Menekrates of Kibyra was chief of the contributors (archeranistēs), on the twenty-sixth of Hyakinthios, these are the contributors (eranistai) who promised to contribute towards the rebuilding of the wall (toichos) and the tombs (mnēmeia) which collapsed during the earthquake.  Menekrates of Kibyra rebuilt the wall and the tombs with their own funds.  He took the initiative on behalf of the association using the collapse money that was promised. . . (remainder lost).
