Plaque on the back of an altar in the meeting place of the Berytians (74.5 x 103 x 16 cm; letter height: 1.8 cm; inv. E 108).

The association of Berytian Poseidon-devotees (Poseidoniastai) consisting of merchants (emporoi), shippers (nauklēroi), and warehouse-workers (egdocheis) set up the altar of Roma when Dionysios son of Sosipater was head of the society (archithiasitēs).
