Slab of blue marble discovered in a building south-west of the meeting-place of the Berytians (34 x 56 cm; letter height: 2 cm; inv. E 107).
The association of the Berytian Poseidon-devotees (Poseidoniastai) consisting of merchants (emporoi), shippers (nauklēroi), and warehouse-workers (egdocheis) in Delos set this up for Gnaeus Octavius son of Gnaeus, praetor of the Romans, benefactor. This was done when Gorgias son of Apollodoros was head of the society (archithiasitēs).
