Fragment of a column capital. This fragment refers to a donation by a "founder and benefactor of the association" (κτίστας κα̣[ὶ] | [εὐερ]γέτας τ[οῦ κο]ιν[ο]ῦ) who was from Kyzikos. He had contributed towards the construction or decoration of a building ([εἰς τὰν κ]α̣τασκευὰν τᾶν [․․]). This Kyzikene, who has the right to residency in Rhodes, may be Nikasion of Kyzikos, on which see also IG XII,1 127 = AGRW 257 and F. Hiller von Gärtringen and S. Saridakis, "Inschriften aus Rhodos," MDAI(A) 25 (1900) 109 (no. 108) on this site. The fragmentary inscription seems to involve the donation of vineyards to the association.
