Base of Lartian marble (70 x 25 cm). This man is honored by several groups, including associations devoted to the god Hermes and to the hero Lapethos, namesake of the city Lapethos on the island of Cyprus (see Nonnos, Dionysiaka 13.432) . Lapethiasts are also attested at Lindos (see IG XII,1 867 on this site).

(one missing line) adopted son (?) . . . of Timostratos Brasios, who has been crowned by the devotees of Lapethas (Lapethiastai), by the neighbourhood (diagonia) of Thymoterpidians, by the Hermes-devotees (Hermaistai), and by the Agesitimeians and Kallikrateians.
