Fragment of a round base of marble (43.5 x 20 cm; letter height: 1.3-1.0 cm). The sanctuary of Apollo Erethimios (in the modern village of Theologos or Tholos) was located about half-way between Ialysos and Kamiros on the northeastern coast of the island. An association with a similar name (with a slight spelling difference) is also attested in an inscription from Kamiros (see IKamiros 87 on this site).
. . . on account of (?) . . . goodwill which he continues (?) to have towards the association (koinon) of Ialysians who are devotees of Erethimios (Erethimiazontes). . . . Name, Rhodian, made this.
