. . . to honor the man alongside the gods with a monument (telamōn) of white stone, having gold crowns engraved on it, for the sake of honor and thanksgiving. The Brontos-devotees (Brontaistai; i.e. Zeus Brontos, “the Thunderer”) supervised the erection of the monument.
Translation by: Harland[— — —] | τειμᾶσαι τὸν ἄνδρα παρὰ τοῖς | θεοῖς ταλαμῶνι λίθου λευκοῦ | ἔχοντα ἐνκεχαραγμένους | στεφάνους χρυσέους, τειμᾶς || καὶ εὐχαριστίας χάριν· | ἐπιμεληθέντων τᾶς ἀναστάσεως | τοῦ ταλαμῶνος τῶν Βρονταϊστᾶν.
