Honors for Emperor Tiberius with Mention of Mysteries (14-37 CE) Mytilene on Lesbos - Northern islands

Mytilene on Lesbos (Northern islands, Aegean Islands — Pleiades map), 14-37 CE

bibliography

Supposedly found near Mytilene at a tower in the road leading to the baths, this fragmentary text only survives in transcript form. Tiberius is here honored (likely by the People) as a benefactor and friend of the city and there is mention of "mysteries" that may have been performed by a group of initiates.

Too fragmentary to translate.
