The Council, the . . . People . . . and the Roman settlers (hoi katoikountes) honored Lucius Rutilius Proclus son of Lucius of the Velina tribe (i.e. one of the voting tribes of the city of Rome), a noble and good man, who lived in an orderly and self-controlled manner, also showing love of honor on every occasion towards the homeland.

ἡ βουλὴ καὶ ὁ [δῆμος καὶ οἱ] κατοικοῦντες Ῥω[μαῖοι] ἐτείμησαν | Λεύκιον Ῥουτε[ίλιον] Λευκίου υἱὸν Οὐελίνᾳ Πρόκλο[ν], ἄνδρα καλὸν καὶ ἀγαθὸν, | ζήσαν[τα] κοσμίως καὶ σωφρόνως καὶ ἐμ παντὶ καιρῷ πρὸς τὴν πατρίδα φιλοδόξως.
