Cylindrical base of white marble (54 cm x 35 cm diameter). Found south of the Agora of the Competaliasts. In the Delos Museum in 1937 (inv. Ε 561). This is C. Julius Caesar (proconsul of Asia), the father of the more famous dictator.

The oil-dealers (olearii) set this up for C. Julius Caesar son of Gaius.
