bibliography

Slab of marble with a triangular top (pediment) and wreath between the second and third lines (125 x 55 x 12 cm). Now in a private collection at Izmir. Year 44 of Actian era is equated with year 98 of the Sullan era, which is the equivalent of 13/14 CE. The double-dating suggests that this comes from the region around Daldis or Charakipolis according to Herrmann and Malay.

Year 44 (Actian era), the same year as 98 (Sullan era), on the seventh day of the month of Audnaios, the settlers in Tabilla honored Glykippos son of Alexandros, a good man who contributed benefactions to them in both the neighborhood association (geitniasis) and in every time of need.  Furthermore, they likewise honored Stratonike his wife as a thanksgiving.
