The Council honored Yarhai . . . son of Zabdilah, friend of the homeland and honor-loving person (?) . . . on account of his goodwill and eagerness which he demonstrated towards the merchants (emporoi).  This was set up for the sake of honor in the 397th year in the month of Gorpiaios.

(Palmyrene translation follows, clarifying the name of the honoree’s father, the honoree’s contributions to the merchants, and the year, which are restored in the Greek).
