Slab of white marble found in the sanctuary of Hera (20 x 31 x 9 cm; letter height: 0.9 cm; inv. Her. M 211).

Those who were soldiers crowned with a gold crown and a painted portrait Poseidonios son of Apollonios, Tembrionadian (i.e. member of a  sub-division of the citizens), who rose from a general to a commander, who was first to have been voted an exemption from service (ateleia), and who guarded the temple of Hera.  This was done when the captains of the camp were Dion son of Sosikrates and Dionysios son of Dionysios, Aiakidian (i.e member of a sub-division named after the descendents of Aiakes).  Philippos, Alexandros, Angeleus of Pontus, . . . (remainder lost; likely a list of the soldiers’ names)
