The Athenian, Roman, and other Greek settlers (katoikountes) on Delos and the merchants (emporoi) and shippers (nauklēroi) set this up for . . . Maraeus Gerillanus (?) . . . son of Maraeus, Roman working as a banker on Delos, because of his virtue and generosity towards them. This was dedicated to Apollo.
