Low pillar (cippus) of marble in the garden of the Biblioteca comunale at Mazara del Vallo. For the interpretation of Kinakes in reference to Phoenicians settled at Mazara on Sicily, see Piraino 1969.

The association (koinon) of Phoenicians (?; Kinakes) set this up for from its own resources for its own patron, M. Junius Felix, member of the Council of Lilybaion who demonstrated love of honor with regard to the homeland.  d.d.b.
