Base of white marble (142 x 66.5-81 x 67-82 cm). On Tiberius Claudius Polemo, see also IGR IV 883, 908, 909. T. Claudius Polemo was the father-in-law of Flavia Lycia. Flavia Lycia's brother was T. Flavius Montanus, who was honored by clothing-cleaners at Akmoneia (see AGRW 146 = IGR IV 643 on this site).

To good fortune!  According to the decree by the Council and the People (dēmos) of the most brilliant city of the Caesarean Kibyrians, the most sacred guild (synergasia) of leather–workers (skytoburseis) honoured Tiberius Claudius Polemon, Asiarch of equestrian status, son of Tiberius Claudius (10) Hiero, who was twice asiarch and twice high–priest, brother of Tiberius Claudius Deioterianus, who was Asiarch, and descendant of Marcius Deioterianus, who was Lyciarch, and Flavius Krateros, who was twice Asiarch and high–priest.  They did this in return for his provision in the supervision of public works.
