bibliography

Block of white marble (18 x 61 x 7.5 cm). Now in the museum at Bodrum (inv. 6657). This association devoted to the sun god Helios was founded by a man named Polemakles. The honoree's name is not preserved. The presence of an immigrant (from Antioch) in a prominent position may suggest a group of immigrants.

. . . the Polemakleian association (koinon) of Helios-devotees (Haliastai = Heliastai) who are with Alexandros from Antioch.
