Base of white marble (75 x 70 x 55 cm). Found in Sarapieion C (inv. Ε 480).

The synod (synodos) which consists of those who wear black (melanēphoroi) set this up for their own benefactor, Demetrios son of Hermesion from Marathon, who was priest in the year when Eisigenes was civic leader (archōn).  This was dedicated to Sarapis, Isis, and Anubis.
