The synod (synodos) gathered around Philoxenos the synagogue-leader (synagōgos), Aratos the goodness-loving official (philagathos), Philistos the assistant to the goodness-loving official (paraphilagathos) and Theomnestos the secretary (grammateus), and the rest of the society-members (thiasitai) . . . set this up in memory of . . .  Name . . . son of Aratos (?).
