Coffin (sarcophagus) in the northern necropolis near the grave of L. Tullius Valens on the west side before the fork in the street.

The grave and the surrounding area together with the stone garden beneath . . . belong to Herakleides (?).  The father and his brother Ammianos were buried in it . . . authority . . . in it.   It is not lawful for anyone else to be buried in it.  .  .   Now if anyone does something contrary to this (?), . . . he will pay a fine of 500 denarii to the treasury and 300 silver denarii to the guild (ergasia) of the . . . (name of occupation lost). . .   A copy of the inscription was put into the archives.

ἡ σορὸς καὶ περὶ [α]ὐτ[ὴ]ν ὁ τόπος σὺν τῷ λιθείνῳ ὑποκη|[πίῳ — — — Ἡρακλ(?)]είδου, ἐν ᾗ ἐκηδεύθη ὁ [πατὴρ(?)] καὶ ὁ ἀ|δελφὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ Ἀμμιανὸς ἐξε— — — τῇ ἐξουσίᾳ τοα | [— — —] αὐτῆς· || ἑτέρῳ δὲ οὐδενὶ ἐξέστα[ι] κηδεῦσαί [τινα]· | [εἰ δὲ μή, ὁ ὑπεναντίον ποιήσας(?)] ἀποτείσι τῷ ταμίῳ ⚹ (δην.) φʹ καὶ τῇ ἐργασίᾳ | [τῶν — — — ἀ]ρ̣γ̣υρ(ίου)(?) ⚹ (δην.) τʹ. [τῆς] ἐπιγραφῆς τὸ ἀ[ν]τίγραφον ἀπόκειται | εἰς τὰ ἀρχεῖα.
