This tomb, the three coffins in it, the lower terrace with a staircase, and the area in front of it by the mosaic belong to Euarestos son of Dionysios, grandson of Metras, great-grandson of Metras, and great-great grandson of Apollonios, and to his children, wife, and descendents. Euarestos has the right to build another memorial upon it or whatever else he wants without hindrance. Furthermore, the fish-trappers (kyrteutai) have the legal right to prosecute violators of the tomb. Euarestos himself, his wife, Marcia, his children, Marcus and Phanias, and their children and descendents have the right to access — may they live. Now if anyone dares to sell or move the grave after my death, let that one pay 2500 denarii to the treasury. Furthermore, Eutychides son of Euarestos has the right to access.
