Slab of marble decorated with crowns (85 x 44 x 5).

Year 279 (of the Sullan era), 10th of the month of Hyperbertaios.  The association (synbiōsis  = symbiōsis) honored Epictetos, the household steward (oikonomos; i.e. slave with a managing role) of Marcia, who lived well for 23 years.

ἔτ(ους) σοθʹ, μη(νὸς) Ὑπερβερτέ|ου ιʹ. Ἐπίκτητον οἰκο|νόμον Μαρκίας ἐτίμη|σεν ἡ συνβίωσεις || ζή(σαντα) καλῶς ἔτ(η) κγʹ.
