(A) Living. This grave and the area around it belong to Marcus Aurelius Apollonios son of Marcus. Apollonios will be buried in it. His wife, Aurelia Paliane will be buried in it. His daughter, Aurelia Marciane wife of Marcianus will be buried in it. (B) His son-in-law, Marcus Aelius Marcianus will be buried in it. But it is not lawful for another to bury someone or to be buried in it, unless the ones written above want to bury someone. The one who does something contrary to this will pay a fine of 1000 denarii to the most revered guild (ergasia) of gardeners (kēpourgoi) and 300 denarii to the one who reveals the violation. A copy of this inscription was stored.
