Thyatira (Lydia, Asia Minor — Pleiades map), II-III CE
SEG 41 (1991), no. 1033
= PHI 277547
= AGRW ID# 12972
In this very fragmentary grave epigram, the deceased speaks in the first person and claims to be the "best of the leather-cutters." The remainder of the inscription is largely lost. A group of leather-cutters that likely formed an ongoing guild is attested in another honorary inscription from Thyatira (TAM V 1002). The man in this grave may or may not have been a member in such a guild.
Too fragmentary to translate.
