Base of marble (16 x 80 x 80 cm; letter height: 2 cm). Although no association is mentioned, the reference to this man's role as "sacred-bearer" in processions implies involvement in a group of devotees of the Egyptian deities.

This was dedicated to Sarapis, Isis, Anubis, Harpokrates (Halphokrates).  Auxos son of Demokles, Samian who is also a sacred-bearer (hieraphoros) on Tenos (island), wearer of the seven garments, together with his wife, Heorte, dedicated this for themselves.
