Slab of white marble (36 x 24 x 8 cm). Found in 1881 in the sanctuary of the Syrian goddess (Pure Aphrodite = Atargatis; inv. Α 1028).
On behalf of the People of Athens, Theodoros son of Theodoros from Aithalidai subdivision–being priest in the year when Dionysios was civic leader–and the therapeutists (therapeutai) dedicated the arches to Pure Aphrodite when Drakon of Bate subdivision was supervisor (epimelētēs) and when Arketos from Kydathenaion subdivision and Hestiaios from Halai subdivision were in charge of sacred matters (epi ta hiera).
