Altar of limestone (70 x 69 cm).

To good fortune.  Maximus son of Name . . . and Neikon son of Theodoros dedicated the altar as a thanksgiving to the god Herakles on behalf of the synod (synodos) of Nikomedian sculptors (lithoxooi; or: stone-masons).

ἀγαθῆι τύχη[ι]. | θεῷ Ἡρακλεῖ | Μάξιμος [․․․]|σίου κὲ Νεί[κων] || Θεοδώ̣ρ̣ο̣[υ ὑ]πὲ̣[ρ] | τ̣ῆ̣ς συνόδ̣ου Νει|κομηδέων λιθο̣|ξόων τὸν βωμὸν | χαρι[σ]στήριον {χαριστήριον}.
