Small base of white marble (75 x 25 x 27 cm). Found in the sanctuary of the Syrian goddess (Pure Aphrodite = Atargatis; inv. Α 1266).

On his own behalf, Dionysios son of Hermogenes from Alexandria dedicated the statue, the censer, and the rosemary frankincense on the occasion when he gathered together the society-members (thiasitai) of the Pure Goddess.

Διονύσιος Ἑρμογένου Ἀ[λεξανδρεὺς] | ὑπὲρ ἑαυτοῦ τὸ ἄγαλμα [καὶ τὸ θυμι]|ατήριον καὶ τὴν λιβανωτίδα, ἀ[πὸ τῶν θι]|ασιτῶν Ἁγνῆς Θεοῦ οὗς συνήγα[γε].
