Slab of white marble (42 x 22-23 x 8.5 cm). Found in 1881 in the sanctuary of the Syrian Pure Goddess, Atargatis (inv. Α 1038).
On behalf of the Athenian People, the Roman People, and the therapeutists (therapeutai), Demonikos son of Euremon from Anaphlystos subdivision, who was priest in the year when Polykleitos was civic leader, dedicated from his own resources the dwelling place and the seat for the oracle to Pure Aphrodite as a thanksgiving.
