Slab (52 x 41 cm). Previously located in the Egyptian Museum at Cairo (inv. CG 9202); now in the Kom Aushim Museum, El-Fayyum. Soknopaios was the local name for the crocodile deity Souchos.

For the well-being of Caesar, Emperor, god descended from a god, the building of this precinct is dedicated to the god and lord Soknopaios by the sheep herders (probatoktēnotrophoi) at Nilopolis and by their wives and children, in accordance with a vow. In the 6th year of Caesar on the 20th of Phamenoth.
