In the year that Menekrates was leader (archon), in the month of Mounichion . . . proposed the following motion: Whereas the supervisors (epimelētai) who were appointed for the year that Menekrates was leader (archon) exercised their duties, after the society members (?) had voted to repair the kitchen and the . . . and, with all zeal they contributed . . . drachmas from their own resources and accomplished the things that had been voted upon with due haste. And, therefore, in order that there might be a rivalry among those who are ambitious, knowing that everyone will receive fitting recognition who are benefactors of the members. For good fortune, it was resolved by the society members (?) to commend those who were supervisors during the leadership (archonship) of Menekrates and to crown them with olive wreaths on account of the good will and zeal that they have exhibited towards the goddess and to all. The supervisors shall inscribe this decree on a monument (stele) which lists those who have made contributions.
