Upper part of a slab of white marble (31 x 48 cm). The Dionysoboleitans may be an association of fishermen devoted to Dionysos, since the Greek term bolos was used in reference to casting a net or to the catch of fish.

When Hadrian Caesar was official of the sacred (i.e. eponymous official of Byzantion) for the second time, decree (?) of the Dionysoboleitans (Dionysoboleitai): Volusia Claudiane, wife . . . . (remainder missing).
