To good fortune! In the year that Diokles son of Diokles was civic leader (archōn), when Aropos son of Seleukos was treasurer . . . of the Hero-devotees (Heroistai) of Diotimos, Zenon, and Pammenes, whose head of the contribution-society (archeranistēs) was Zenion son of Diotimos of Marathon, the association (koinon) of the Hero-devotees resolved to make provision for the income of the association, so that those of the Hero-devotees who are away from home for whatever reason shall pay three drachmas for the sacrifices, and those living at home but not in attendance shall be required to pay six drachmas as the contribution, and they shall not receive the portion of the sacrifice. And if they do not make a contribution, it was resolved that they should not participate in the contribution-society (eranos), except if one should be absent because of mourning or because of sickness. Likewise it was resolved to allow those who have contributed thirty drachmas to introduce new contributors and . . . of six drachmas and not . . . let them cast their ballot regarding the things. . .
