This inscription is not from Skopelos as originally thought (as in IG; see SEG 45 [1995], no. 1093).

Gaius Coelius Pankarpos set up the shrine and the place in front of it for the god Dionysos and for the initiates (mystai) in the place.

Γάϊος Κοί[λι]ος Πάνκαρπος | θεῷ Διονύσῳ καὶ τοῖς ἐν | τῷ τόπῳ μύσταις ἀνέθη|κε τὸ ἱερὸν καὶ τὸν πρὸ αὐ||τοῦ τόπον.
