Gods!  In the year that Dionysios was civic leader (archōn), in the month of Elaphebolion, during the regular assembly, the society members (thiasōtai) approved the motion that Zeno son of Zenodotos of Erikeia proposed: Whereas Theon, having been appointed as the treasurer for the year that Nikophon was civic leader (archōn), has rendered this service for many years; further, he has allocated funds for the sacrifices at the appropriate times with honesty; and, further, he has paid immediately the burial expenses for those who have died.  Likewise also the secretary (grammateus) has rendered service for many years.  Whereas these two continue to show goodwill towards the association of society members and to put themselves at its disposal, and . . . the same . . . .
