Base built into the Baths of Varius.

T. Claudius Aristion, high-priest of Asia for the third time . . . (three untranslatable lines), president, and temple-warden, who arranged many great works in our city from his own resources. The silversmiths (argyrokopoi) set up this monument when Furius Secundus was superintendent of works.
