Coffin (sarcophagus) on the east side before the fork in the road in the northern necropolis.

(A) Grave of Aurelius Zotikos … son of (?) Epikrates (?).

(B) … Zotikos (?) and him.  Now I leave behind 150 denarii to the guild of nail–manufacturers for the yearly grave–crowning ceremony.  But if they fail to provide the service, then the guild (syntechnia ?) of coppersmiths will do so.  But if they fail to provide the service, the funds are to be given to the purple–dyers for supervision of the grave.  It is not lawful for anyone else to be buried here and, if this is violated, the offender will pay 500 denarii to the most sacred organization of elders (gerousia), 500 denarii to the most holy treasury, and the same to the one prosecuting the case.  A copy of this inscription was stored in the archives.  And nothing will be given …
