Statue base with a bilingual dedication.

(In Latin:) The used clothing-dealers (scrutarii) dedicated this to emperor Caesar Augustus, son of a god, Mercury.

(In Greek:) The used clothing-dealers (grytopōlai) dedicated this to emperor Caesar Augustus, son of a god, Hermes, when Diogenes son of Polychares, friend of Caesar, was leader (or: patron; prostatēs).
