Base of limestone discovered at Pyri, a suburb of Thebes (40 x 109 x 96 cm). There were 22 members who contributed to this dedication of the statue.

    Hi. A possible error in GRA I 56 – The translation says: Lysistratos of Athens made this (statue). The Greek says: Histiaios of Athens.

    Hello Andrew. Thank you for pointing out the inconsistency. What had happened was the text of IG VII 2463 (which was originally displayed here) had since been republished in SEG 32:493. The text used and translated in GRA was this SEG text, so I have put that SEG Greek text in here and changed the link to PHI. Thanks!
