Three inscriptions on blocks of Philippian marble (with large grain). These three inscriptions were inscribed on the doorposts of the door opening into the western parodos (stage-entrance) of the theatre. Currently in the find-spot (inv. number 245.248.249/1991). The first relief (no. 499) depicts the goddess Nike holding a palm branch in her left hand while standing on a globe. She is facing forward and her right arm is outstretched and she is holding a wreath or crown in her right hand. The second (no. 500) depicts the goddess Nemesis. The third relief (no. 501) depicts the god Ares in military costume.

Marcus Velleius Zosimos, priest of the unconquerable Nemesis, on behalf of the association (stemma) of gladiators (or: the association of fans of the beast-fighters), has made the reliefs of the gods at his own expense.   (Relief of the goddess Nike).
